The Fuchs Mizrachi School, located in Beachwood, Ohio, is a leading Modern Orthodox
Jewish Day School in North America. Educating students from pre-nursery through 12th
grade in general and Judaic studies, we are committed to academic excellence,

We wish to employ a full-time social worker / clinical mental health counselor for our
high school grades 9-12 beginning in the fall 2023, to facilitate our students’ academic
and emotional growth. Through direct support to our students as well as teacher
consultation, the social worker will contribute to the success of our student body.

Job Responsibilities include:

• Work collaboratively with school administrators, nurse, faculty, staff, parents and

various community agencies. Information obtained through these resources will

be utilized to develop and support students’ social, emotional, academic,

behavioral and developmental growth.

• Provide individual and group counseling to students as it relates to academic and

social-emotional functioning. Identify and utilize community resources, and act as

a liaison between the school and outside agencies.

• Establish rapport to help students engage in the educational process, provide

specialized services such as crisis intervention and teacher consultations.

• Support the administration and faculty to improve culture and school climate.
• Develop groups and programs relevant to adolescent skill-building and

psychosocial education.

• Maintain appropriate clinical and school records and provide written reports and

communications.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Social Work, Clinical Mental Health Counseling, or a comparable degree
• Valid License. LISW. LPC
• Experience working with adolescents required
